Drawing Competition organized on the occasion of Children's Day
On the Occasions of Children's Day 14th November, celebrated across India to mark the birth anniversary of our First Prime Minister " Shri Jawaharlal Nehru, Madhav Netralaya eye and research institute, Nagpur had organized a " Drawing Competition" on 17th November 2018.
The Drawing Competition was from the age group of 3 to 15 yrs of age. The children started there drawing from 4 pm till 5.30 pm in the evening. The topics were ' Swachha Bharat" and "Eye donation".
Around 50 children participated in the event. The event got an overwhelming response from the children and parents. The chief guest of honor was," Shri Shirish Dharwehkarji, Trustee, Madhav Netralaya and Shrimati Dharwhekar".
The Event was judge by " Professor Atula Patwardhan". The prize distribution took place at 6 pm and our Chief guest took this opportunity to guide the children's about different habits which causes eye diseases in kids.
The parents were also actively listening to the guidance given by our renowned chief guest. This event was done for the awareness of "child vision problem" and emphasis was made for routine checkup of all kids less than 5 yrs of age.
