Common Eye Problems Lasik Surgery Solves

Most of the people having spectacle can relate to what I am saying . A day without spectacle and contact lenses can become a hell of a ride who suffer from defective vision. The feeling of not able to see without them makes you feel sick on a daily basis. And when you want to go for a spectacle-free option there comes contact-lens and also its own struggles like dry contacts, tired eyes, smudged lenses and blah blah blah….Seriously feels like ending this once and for all.
This is where LASIK comes into the light. LASIK ( laser in situ keratomileuses) is a procedure in which a laser is used to reshape your cornea — the clear, round dome at the front of your eye to improve the way your eye focuses light rays onto your retina. It helps to reduce or eliminate refractive errors and common eye problems such as-
● Myopia or nearsightedness - Near-sightedness, also known as short-sightedness or myopia, is an eye disorder where light focuses in front of, instead of on, the retina. This causes distant objects to be blurry while close objects appear normal. Other symptoms may include headaches and eye strain.
● Hyperopia or farsightedness-Farsightedness, also known as hyperopia, is a condition of the eye in which light is focused behind, instead of on, the retina. This results in close objects appearing blurry, while far objects may appear normal. As the condition worsens, objects at all distances may be blurry. Other symptoms may include headaches and eye strain.
● Astigmatism-Astigmatism is a type of refractive error in which the eye does not focus light evenly on the retina. This results in a distorted or blurred vision at all distances. Other symptoms can include eyestrain, headaches, and trouble driving at night. If it occurs early in life it can result in amblyopia.
We at Madhav Netralaya perform LASIK surgery with our very own excellent well-experienced pack of doctors. Many eye hospitals perform LASIK where the surgical blade is needed which involves risk of corneal abrasions during surgery and induced astigmatism after the surgery. We are a part of the very few eye hospitals in Central India who perform bladeless surgery using the LENSX Laser which is considered greater than any other femtosecond machine for creating the flap in the cornea for the replacement of the surgical blade. For the actual procedure, we use the EX500 Excimer Laser which is a definition of complete reliability and precision. The advantages of using this machinery are the highly precise treatments, less dehydration of the cornea and fewer influences through the patient’s movement.

Madhav Netralaya is one of the very few to be equipped with high tech machinery for LASIK eye surgery in Nagpur. Definitely, we provide the best care and services for our patients and assure them complete treatment for an eye with our modern infrastructure, state of the art technology and with the team of best eye doctors in Nagpur.
