Dr. Nikhil Gotmare completed his under-graduation from the prestigious Grant Medical College and Sir JJ group of Hospitals, Mumbai. He pursued his post-graduation and subsequently served as a Senior resident in Cataract, Cornea and Refractive surgeries unit for 3 years at renowned Guru Nanak Eye Centre, MAMC, New Delhi which is ranked amongst top 5 medical colleges in India.
His main areas of clinical interest include premium cataract surgeries, corneal transplants (PK/DALK/DSAEK) and refractive surgeries such as LASIK, PRK, ICL. He has multiple publications in national and international journals and has presented as faculty at various national meetings. He is also a multi-time award winner in ophthalmic quiz and ophthalmic photography at national level.
