Dr. Nidhi Lalwani Mamtani

Dr. Nidhi is a consultant ophthalmologist and glaucoma specialist who focuses on providing compassionate, patient-centered eye care. She completed her foundational medical training with an MBBS from Government Medical College and Hospital, Nagpur, and went on to earn her MS in Ophthalmology from Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital, Nagpur. Fortunate to learn from excellent mentors early in her career, she later completed a specialized fellowship in glaucoma at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai, alongside earning her DNB, FICO, and FAICO certifications.

 

Her professional journey has given her the opportunity to serve patients at various institutions, including AIIMS Nagpur and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Hospital, Nagpur. Believing that clinical practice and ongoing learning go hand-in-hand, she has also enjoyed contributing to ophthalmic literature through several co-authored research papers and a book chapter. Today, she is happy to bring her experience in cataract and glaucoma surgeries back to her hometown, serving the community at Madhav Netralaya Eye Hospital & Research Institute, Nagpur.
