Maj Gen AP Bam, Sena Medal, Vishist Seva Medal (Retd) is an alumni of the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Deheradun.. He was commissioned into the Regt of Artillery on 07 Jun 1980. He has had the proud privilege to have taken part in all the operations and wars the recent times i.e from OP PAWAN (Shri Lanka) to OP VIJAY(Kargil). He has wide exposure in all types of terrain and all kinds of operations.
