She has undergone training in Cornea, Cataract and Refractive surgery at SANKARA NETHRALAYA CHENNAI where she continued as Associate Cornea Consultant and subsequently as Sr Consultant at SANKARA NETHRALAYA KOLKATA.
A prolifically trained surgeon in the diagnosis and treatment of corneal pathology, she is adept at Corneal Transplantation Surgeries, Premium cataract surgeries, Refractive surgery and fostering academic growth. Her areas of expertise include management of corneal infections, lamellar corneal transplantation, management of ocular surface disorders, ocular anterior segment trauma and ocular surface neoplasia.
She has been actively involved in Eye Donation programmes and was In charge of Eye Bank Services at Sankara Nethralya Kolkata. She has handled multiple administrative roles in addition to her clinical work and was Presiding Officer of the ICC at Kolkata.
